Ever been in a team or headed a team which seemed to epitomise the very meaning of corporate politics?
Chances are that you probably have. Corporate politics represents a culture of a team which just fails to achieve synergy, where behaviours commonly known as 'backstabbing' and 'badmouthing' are prevalent. 1. Absence of Trust. 2. Fear of Conflict. It is with trust that conflict is possible, for team members have to believe that speaking their ideas only brings the team towards a common goal.
This way, team members will not avoid conflict and create artificial harmony where they focus on being nice as opposed to generating ideas and solutions. It is imperative that for a team to be productive and grow, meaningful dialogue must take place. A leader could encourage debate through leadership by example, where he bears the appropriate behaviours such as being outcome-oriented rather than personality oriented in his discussions.
3. Lack of Commitment.
President Donald Trump and his allies advanced a conspiracy theory about the Ukraine whistleblower over the last few days alleging that the intelligence community had recently changed the rules requiring whistleblowers to base their claims on first-hand information. "The whistleblower does not need to prove right off the bat with direct evidence what they’re claiming," explained Eric Bachman, an attorney with Zuckerman Law who represents whistleblowers.
"That type of direct evidence is frankly hard to come by. WHO CHANGED THE LONG STANDING WHISTLEBLOWER RULES JUST BEFORE SUBMITTAL OF THE FAKE WHISTLEBLOWER REPORT? The Office of the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community released a statement confirming that there is no requirement for first-hand information in such a complaint and said they had not rejected complaints on that basis. The form was changed this summer, when new employees began reviewing forms. The Ukraine whistleblower, the statement noted, used both first-hand and second-hand information in the complaint. After a whistleblower complaint is transmitted to an inspector general, the independent government watchdog reviews the allegation to determine whether it is credible. That could mean reviewing documents and interviewing witnesses, Bachman said. If the complaint deemed credible, the inspector general will send it to Congress for further investigation. "Most of the complaints I’m familiar with have had some second-hand information," Bachman said. A new form, which asks respondents to check a box if they are reporting first- or second-hand information, was posted days before the Ukraine whistleblower's complaint was declassified and released to the public. Moss is a partner at Mark Zaid, P.C., the firm representing the Ukraine whistleblower, but he said he is completely "walled off" from the individual's representation. The intelligence community inspector general's statement Monday clarifying the reasons for changing the whistleblower complaint forms came after Republican Sens. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, Chuck Grassley of Iowa, and Mike Lee of Utah wrote a letter to Atkinson asking about the form revision.
Throughout our books, we constantly point out how the Bush administration catered to Monsanto and other Big Food companies.
300 million a year. Europe refused to lift the ban on GMO foods because the U.N. GMO foods are dangerous to humans and other crops. Studies by the Universities of Wisconsin and Arkansas have established that if American farmers grew traditional organic foods there would be a greater foreign market for their sales including Europe.
Despite all of the evidence contrary to the U.S. ’s position on GMO plants and food, Vice-President Dan Quayle introduced the FDA’s final policy on genetically modified biotech products in support of Monsanto in 1992. He referred to the new policy as "regulatory relief" for the industry.
At the same time, the FDA acknowledged that its policy was to "to foster" U.S. What better way "to foster" bio-policy than hiring the biotech industries’ own employees to carry out their agenda.
